star Romeo Lavia has confirmed his imminent £58million move to via a post on his social media.
Midfielder Lavia will join the Blues on a seven-year contract after passing a medical and finalising his switch overnight.
Lavia’s move will look to be sealed ahead of today’s midday deadline for him to be eligible for Sunday’s trip to West Ham.
However, Lavia has yet to play this season and not trained much recently while his future has been resolved.
And he is due to be assessed by today to determine if the visit to the London Stadium will come too soon for him to be involved with Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for the first time.
